Search for a Star 2008, in conjunction with mkvibe, is holding its final round of regional auditions
Search for a Star 2008, in conjunction with MK Vibe, is holding its final round of regional auditions at Madcap theatre, on Saturday 27th November. The singer songwriters category is still wide open and auditionees are invited to register before the deadline of November 26th. The finals are to be held on Friday December 5th at Madcap theatre Milton Keynes.
Sponsored by the homesure groups, there are two categories: Over 16's and under 16's with each category including vocalists, bands, groups, dancers and dance crews. MK Vibe have launched careers for dance crew Nemisis steering them to a top ten finish in 'Britain's got talent 2008', and launching them on to a National tour, music video features and a series of high profile events, Natalie Chua (15)(platinum selling artists) and Bkay and Kazz (top 40 debut single) this year.
Auditionees should be willing to perform two original songs with the finals being held in Milton Keynes 5th December 2008. Winners will receive £3000 worth of recording time/professional video production and a full management contact, along with a promotional campaign and a career mentor working with them for a year.

Auditionees will be able to perform to own and original songs and be looking to further their music career in 2009.
