Miss Earth UK Grand Finals |

 |
In what is looking to be a huge event this summer the grand finals of Miss Earth UK, the modern pageant with an eco-friendly twist, are set to kick off this Saturday the 30th of August.
Miss Earth UK adds a new take to traditional beauty pageants, where beauty queens are strong and effective advocates for Mother Earth by being informed, goal-oriented and committed to playing a part in preserving and protecting the environment for future generations.
The four overall country winners of Miss Earth UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland) will travel to the Miss Earth world-class international competition. They will then compete with contestants from over 90 countries in the televised event.
Miss Earth is an event of style and glamour where women from all over the world are empowered to bring new meaning to beauty pageants by focusing on and promoting environmental awareness. The Miss Earth delegates during their participation in the pageant are required to plant trees, attend various environmental seminars and educate people on the three R’s (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
StarNow.com are supporters of this year’s Miss Earth UK event and received a fantastic response from members to the Miss Earth UK casting calls posted on StarNow this year.
We’d like to congratulate all of our girls in the Finals this year and wish you all the best of luck! Anyone wanting to purchase online can do so before the 28th of August http://www.missearthuk.co.uk/news.php. |
